O.k... now that I'm home and my wife is busy setting up her Palm... more pictures! Hooray! Anyway, these are pictures while we are at MINES resort. Not very good though I must admit but definitely keepsakes for the memories. The pic shows an image of the swimming pool. O.k for some info. The official website is www.mines.com.my. From Novotel hotel we insisted on taking a metered cab to Mines which cost less than RM$20. But we paid the cab RM$40 for being very chatty. Nice guy. Anyway, if we book a cab, it'll cost us around the same amount. It was nevertheless a harrowing ride. Traffic was er, nightmarish!.
We left novotel around 6 in the evening and reached mines closed to 8. We checked in the beach spa hotel and realised that the shopping center was only less than 5 minutes walk. We love the shopping center. Food, food and food and plenty of sensible shops. Sensible would means, non boutiques, non expensive stuff. These boutiqueys and expensive stuff can be had at KL sentral itself. There is even a Tanjong Golden Village cinema there and we managed to catch Eragon for RM$9 a ticket. It was an experience watching a movie there. For one thing, the audience is much more responsive. And the reacted even before the actors had finished speaking their dialogues. I gather, it must be the subtitles. O.k, it lunch time. Need to eat. Will continue.Oh, have a Merry Christmas.
