Good news for today is that I got to go to JB and top up my petrol. Although it was only 29 liters I felt good seeing I've saved about $20.

I have also forwarde Puji $400 to help pay for the expenses incurred by her family as their kampung was hit by floods. Went to Western Union at Sengkang Post Office. Went there around 10 and there were only 2 people ahead of us. Done the deed in about half an hour. The cost incurred was $12 to remit the $ over. The funds were able to be withdrawn within an hour. I think that that is great.

Adam coming back from school at 3.00pm and Su will be late too. Maybe around 10pm. Adam has music class while Su has a meet the parents session. Looks like I have to drive her back tonight. No worries, since it'll be at night, there should be less traffic. Now if only I can find time to was the car.

I have transferred another $500 of mom's money. So that would make it a total of $3k. This $1000 a day transfer limit is very restricting.

Went to JB early today morning. Only managed to top up 37 liters of petrol. That would cost me some $37 after conversion to local currency. Prior to that I had to top up $70 worth of Singapore petrol before discount. Life is getting more and more expensive.

The other day I went to the market in Bedok. Some of the fishmonger did not have enough fish to sell. When I asked why, they said it was because of the weather that the catch is getting worse.

As for the weather, I hope the people in Brisbane, Australia would be having a better time today. The main river burst its banks and the capital of Brisbane, Queensland was flooded. I pity them and I hope things will only get better.

Puji wrote a letter back home. I took some shots of her and printed them out. She enclosed the pictures in the letter as well.

Don't know why he needs tutoring as he is such a clever boy. He needs a kick in the butt more than he needs tutoring as he can take his very own sweet time in completing his work..like right now.

Its wan's birthday today. The plan was to bring her out for supper. But su is getting sleepy and irsyad and yan is not home and not responding to calls and pings, i guess it will be an intimate family sleeping thingy..

It cant be help. Its a friday. Everybody is busy on a friday. To have the celebration pushed to supper time clearly demonstrates how busy everybody is.

Anyway, Yan bought her a brooch. Irsyad wanted to surprise her with a packet of mee rebus from school but that did not materialise. Ots forbidden now to pack food out from school.

Just came back from giant hypermarket. Brought puji along. Its her first time there. She was like so dazed looking at the aisles of stuffs.

I would rate her 8/10 in her ability to get things done. Not bad, considering that this was her first time there.
